shopping spree.

So, I met up with a friend on Saturday and went shopping :) I also popped to Sainsburys today for a DVD, so here's what I have bought:

This shows what I have got today - HARRY POTTER! :D and the Sainsburys magazine. Plus an owl necklace that I bought off Ebay arrived in the post :) 

The necklace - it was originally in Topshop for £12 - I got it off Ebay for £2.49 :) 

I am the biggest fan of Harry Potter - I got the special edition DVD from Sainsburys for £8.99 :) 

On Saturday I also bought The Girl Who Played With Fire - loved the books and enjoyed the first film so this is the second film out of three :) 

Oversized cardi from Topshop Petite :) Love this - I've been wanted to get it for ages!

And finally, a dress from Republic :) This will be used in the summer mainly and for a holiday dress :)

So, better not spend anything else this month! Ooops!

inspiration dreams.

Me and OH have been to a wedding reception this weekend - it was lovely and the bride looked gorgeous :) I didn't take many photos in the end, but here are a couple to show you! 

The most amazing cupcake - dark chocolate with vanila icing, made to look like a 99! :) As I've given both cake and chocolate up for Lent, I couldn't eat this, but my OH assured me it was very tasty! They certainly looked very pretty :) 

These were the flowers held by the bridesmaid ( I think) and I took a photo because of the colours really - they are very pretty.

There's nothing I like better than a nice cup of tea...

A lazy weekend.

So, had a lovely weekend :) Me and OH went shopping yesterday and had lunch out in a nice little Italian restaurant - the pizza I had was enormous! 

Today was a housework day, followed by lovely food. I had my second attempt at making bread! 

First stage - the kneaded dough

Leave to rise for an hour in a covered bowl.

Knock the dough and leave to rise for a further hour on a baking tray covered with baking parchment.

Then bake for 30 mins! It was so amazing - in fact so good that I forgot to take a picture - d'oh! 

And finally, some lovely daffodils that OH bought me today :)
